About Us
"It's Time" to take charge of your health
Creative Minds Academy (CMA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt community-based, non-medical organization serving as a catalyst to close the lifestyle and disease related problem gaps that are prevalent in Mississippi's rural communities.
Programs offered by CMA encompasses health literacy, preventive care, intensified wellness, lifestyle improvement, self-management for chronic diseases and much more depending on the needs of participants. CMA provides daily services from evidenced-based programs to adults ages 55+ and adults with disabilities living in underrepresented Mississippi communities wanting to improve their quality of life.

Adults 55 years of age and older, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers.
What We Do
Creative Minds Academy partners with senior centers, adult day-cares, elderly adult living communities, assisted-living communities, government agencies, and non-profits to arrange evidence-based health literacy, wellness, fitness, nutrition, and socialization opportunities.
Vision
Creative Minds Academy is a model for what community-based organizations in under-served rural populations can do to empower aging and disabled adults to enhance their quality of life.
Mission
To provide opportunities for the aging and disabled population to continuously come together for programs that reflect their experience and support their independence, allowing them to remain involved in their community.
